Cookies, kept simple.
This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies until you choose to allow them. Nothing is loaded, and nothing tracks you, unless you accept. I never sell your data.
When you first arrive, nothing that stores data on your device runs. You see a short banner with two equal choices, Accept or Reject, and until you pick one, no analytics or advertising cookies are set. This is handled with Google Consent Mode, so the default state for every tag is "denied".
If you accept, I load a small set of analytics and advertising tools (listed below) through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are useful and to measure whether my advertising works. If you reject, they all stay switched off and none of their cookies are set.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
Everything below loads only after you accept, and all of it runs through Google Tag Manager.
Analytics — Google Analytics (GA4): sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_<id> to measure visits and understand which content helps. Anonymised; I never use it to identify you.
Advertising — Meta (Facebook) pixel: sets cookies such as _fbp to measure the results of Facebook and Instagram ads and, where relevant, to show them to people who have visited.
Advertising — LinkedIn Insight Tag: sets cookies such as bcookie and lidc to measure the results of LinkedIn ads.
Your choice: your accept or reject decision is remembered in your browser's local storage (a small value named pf_consent) so you are not asked on every visit. This stays on your device and is never sent to me.
Strictly necessary: the site is otherwise static and sets nothing else required to make it work.
To withdraw consent, use Cookie settings in the footer and choose Reject, or clear this site's data in your browser.
